At SBS Friction A/S, we believe that even small initiatives can make a big difference when we act together. In the fall of 2024, our employees joined forces in a new CSR initiative by collecting used and discarded clothes among colleagues.

The clothes were gathered, sorted, and packed into donation bags, which were then handed over to Kirkens Korshær in Svendborg. Here, the garments are given a new life: either refurbished for reuse or sold to raise funds for social initiatives that support vulnerable people in our community.

A Shared Effort with Great Impact

With only 120 employees, we are proud to share that together we collected a little over 100 kg of clothes. This effort not only supports Kirkens Korshær’s important work, but also underlines our commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.

More Than Just Recycling

For us, this was more than a donation drive—it was a way to strengthen community spirit within SBS while contributing to a greener and more socially responsible future.

This initiative is just one of the ways we strive to create positive impact beyond our core business. At SBS, we are excited to see how such employee-driven actions can inspire future CSR activities.
