SBS' approach is that products and processes must help to improve the environment.With the Notox diesel particulate filter, SBS has introduced a product that reduces air pollution and thereby ensures a healthier urban environment thanks to effective diesel exhaust filtration.SBS also works purposefully in other areas to eliminate factors that have an impact on the environment.The company was the first in the world to supply motorcycle brake pads that contain no asbestos, and we subsequently removed lead compounds and other heavy metals from our brake pads, making it possible to manufacture them without the use of chemical adhesives. The next step is a new "green" lining material that sets new standards for environment-friendly brake products.In addition, SBS is one of Europe's biggest manufacturers of "re-man" brake callipers, based on the environment-friendly reuse of used callipers, and the company was also the first on the market to remove chromium 6 from the product.
